About the Authors

Gilbert A. R. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Marian College Kuttikkanam Autonomous and a leading innovator in media education. A two-time patent holder, he is the inventor of a cost-effective teleprompter and the pioneer of the first Al-based news reading initiative in media colleges in Kerala. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he has served as the Head of the Department of Media Studies under the College of Mahatma Gandhi University and worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Journalism at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, serves on Boards of Studies and Examination for various Universities and Colleges, and has published and presented research at reputed international journals and conferences.

Jose K Mathew is a versatile broadcast journalist with rich experience in the media field, currently working with 24 News Television Channel. A postgraduate in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Institute of Communication and Journalism, MG University, Kottayam, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Computer Applications-seamlessly blending business acumen with media expertise. Passionate about storytelling and presentation, Jose has developed notable skill and experience in anchoring, alongside his interests in public relations, corporate communication, emerging media technologies, and radio & television production.

Dr. Jigar Shah is an academician and media professional with over 17 years of teaching and 7 years of industry experience in advertising. journalism, and public relations. He holds a Ph.D. in Advertising and a Master’s in Mass Communication from Mumbai University, along with a Postgraduate degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and an LL.B. He has worked with ZEE News, Divya Bhaskar, and Shobhagya Advertising. contributing to notable campaigns like “Khushbu Gujarat Ki.” As a pioneer in launching Gujarat’s first UG program in Journalism & Mass Communication, he has mentored over 500 students, with many winning national and international awards. He continues to contribute as a resource person and expert for academic and professional institutions across India.
